About Your Dentist

Dr. Melissa Calderon is a native born Memphian and graduated from Memphis State University. Her initial aspirations were to pursue a career in education. She taught high school for two years before deciding that dentistry was her true passion. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, School of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Calderon has been practicing with American Family Dentistry since 1994. She has been married for 26 years and is the mother of two wonderful daughters. While she maintains a busy schedule, she still finds time to participate in several Memphis charitable organizations and enjoys all aspects of the performing arts.
